Thank you very much for visiting our website.

We have started this lodge here in town of Biruwa in Spring of 2009. However we fell in love with this forest and the lakes a long before. We would like to show our guest some of things that makes this place so special.

"Mashu" the Dog

Mashu, the much beloved dog of our family, passed away in July 2017. All of our family is still losing words, but we thank all of you who loved him.

He was born on 12th of July, 2008. The owner of the lodge was walking past a breeder one day and just fell in love with him, so he came to SUBARU.

His speciality was swimming. The owner would have loved to canoe with him, but he'd much rather swim next to the canoe than be in it!
